Bioregionalism: Connection to Earth

I always build special connections to places I visit. And if not for the term bioregionalism, then perhaps it would be hard to explain what it all means. I learned this term during my studies at university, which supports both science and spirituality, two worlds that are within me. Through this term, I learned that places have special qualities and information about them. Bioregionalism doesn't only mean spiritual connection building with the place you are living in, but also involves understanding and appreciating the unique characteristics, ecosystems, and resources of the region, as well as fostering a sense of place-based identity. Through the land I am on and visit, I feel, absorb, and as a result transmit specific information and qualities into the world.

My body is incredibly sensitive. I can even sense people within 5 minutes of being in their presence. Now I trust my body when I immediately receive signals to escape the communication or stay longer and build stronger relationships not just with people but with a land as well. I used to deny that through my rational mind, being confused about "what the h*ll you are talking about… there are no such things..." but that led me to emotional and physical illnesses. Then I made changes.

Now I listen to my body, and it always leads me to places where it thrives the most. Through that, people who are surrounded by my side can thrive as well. Each place on Earth is like a different world with its energies and qualities. Not to mention ecosystems and nature. I always feel how I connect to it. I also feel that people gather in certain places for a reason. We don’t choose where we are born, although if we are born there, it's like we are born into a specific matrix - specific traditions, "normal," "should/must/have to," etc. But when we migrate, it's more concise... as an immigrant and a traveler, I experienced that. Somehow when we migrate, we choose a specific country, state, and throughout all the places where I travel, I live different lives and experience new sides of myself, like new identities. I absorb the information of the land through my skin and my body, that’s why I prefer to spend longer in places where I travel to build solid connections. Sometimes, like in the case of Chicago, I felt that I have to get out immediately; a big city without nature didn't make me thrive.

I used to believe it sounded weird because my brain is super strong and likes science stuff, but apparently, bioregionalism is a well-explained process. This gave me an idea to create libraries of knowledge and wisdom of the land - where I will connect to the place and let the lessons, teachings, and wisdom that I experience in, be put in because I want my tribe to thrive. If you feel like you are understanding what I am saying and want to be a part of that tribe, then be excited because I will bring you the wisdom of the land without your need to travel. In the future, I am thinking of doing retreats, and you can ask me about that even now.

If you want to improve the relationship with your body - Earth and its wisdom is a perfect way to do it. Places where we travel and cultures we see - enrich us with knowledge, wisdom, and we absorb it through the body - naturally, we evolve.

In Chicago, I connected to a side of me I enjoyed for a while too, but over time, I became overcontrolling, career-oriented, overproductive, tense, and a little bit of a people pleaser. That's not me. But that's the vibe I felt a lot. California set me free, and I made my peace with love for spirituality and so much more. I felt that there could be unintentional between art and tech, science and spirituality. Now that I am in Hawaii, I am connecting to a state of flow, connection to creative abundance, union with your inner nature, soul nurturing. Hawaii for me is like connecting to God. For me, God and nature are absolutely equal worlds. We are Gods as well, made of nature, creations of God. And god is nature, and that's how I close the circle lol. I am always down to Earth even in my spirituality - my God is always within me, my body, and in the nature around me.

My way of gifting this state of mind and soul is in me creating that library where I will help you connect to this state of mind and soul in the comfort of your home. Not everybody is a migrant-bird and like me, and not everyone can feel when it’s calling you out like I do. I’m excited, and I hope you are too.
